If your student has participated in past summer camps, please note this is the same curriculum as 2023 summer session; new project offerings will be available with L2 course dates later in summer.
Your student is expected to use machines and sharp tools in a safe way and be able to follow directions.
If you own a sewing machine, students are encouraged to bring it. Otherwise, basic tools and sewing machines will be provided for use.
Lisa started her sewing journey at the age of 8 in a summer camp much like this. Sewing quickly became a lifelong passion, which led to studies in fashion design and patternmaking and a career in the apparel industry. Looking to inspire the next generation of makers, this course is designed to add knowledge and expand their skillset.
Classes are held at New Brighton Middle School, Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm
